Analytics

Post analytics, profile analytics, and everything the platform reports

Read performance per post and per profile, get the full metric set each network exposes, and assemble whatever you want on your side.

Every metric, for every post

Likes, comments, shares, views, saves, impressions, and reach, pulled per post and normalized across networks, with each platform's original fields kept in raw_stats.

Followers and engagement, per profile

Account-level followers, views, and engagement, plus a clean daily series and snapshots captured over time.

Whatever the platform reports, you get

No curated subset. Normalized names for cross-network reporting, plus raw_stats with each network's original keys, so nothing is dropped.

Build anything on your side

One endpoint per surface, normalized plus raw, with fresh snapshots pushed by webhook. Feed a warehouse, wire up custom dashboards, or automate reports.

Build with the Analytics API

Post stats, profile snapshots, normalized and raw metrics, and continuous webhooks — all in the reference.

Raw platform stats

Keep each network's original metric names beside the normalized fields in raw_stats.

Metric metadata

See whether a metric is supported, where it comes from, whether it adds up, and when it may still change.

Follower history

Read a clean daily follower series instead of reducing raw profile snapshots yourself.

Unique viewer windows

Use daily, 7-day, and 28-day unique viewers on Facebook and Instagram without summing non-additive values.

Previous-period values

Compare account activity with the previous 24-hour, 7-day, or 30-day window from one summary response.

Per-location outcomes

Read Search and Maps impressions, calls, directions, bookings, and other local actions by location.

Analytics questions

Metric coverage, normalized vs raw data, refresh cadence, and Google Business outcomes.

01 Are the same metrics available on every platform?

No. Platforms expose different metrics and permissions. Postproxy normalizes equivalent metrics where they exist, returns n/a or null when they do not, and includes metric metadata that explains support and source.

02 Can I still access the original platform metrics?

Yes. Every post stats snapshot includes raw_stats alongside the normalized stats object, so platform-specific fields and reaction breakdowns remain available.

03 How often are profile analytics refreshed?

Profile snapshots are captured roughly every 23 hours. The profile.stats webhook fires when each new snapshot is recorded, once per placement on networks with placements.

04 How should I use 7-day and 28-day unique viewers?

Those values are rolling, non-additive windows available on Facebook and Instagram. Read the value on the last day of the requested range instead of summing daily records.

05 Does the API include Google Business outcomes?

Yes. Location stats include trailing 30-day Search and Maps impressions, website clicks, calls, directions, conversations, bookings, food orders, and menu clicks where Google reports them.
